Finanxy (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by Artha Maevia Reveria, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use, share, retain, and safeguard it, and the choices and rights you may have when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address and Google account profile information used for sign-in
  • Display name and profile photo provided by your sign-in provider
  • User preferences and settings

Financial and App Content

  • Transaction data you enter
  • Account balances, categories, budgets, goals, and other financial records you create in the application
  • Receipts, attachments, templates, and other content you choose to add
  • Business journal records and operational data for Business features you use

Location Information

  • Transaction location data when you choose to add your current location while recording a transaction

Analytics and Diagnostic Information

  • Analytics data
  • Crash reports
  • Device and app diagnostic information
  • Support-related diagnostic information
  • Service reliability information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Finanxy’s features, services, and user experience
  • Authenticate your account and keep your journals available across supported devices
  • Store, sync, and back up your data through the backup options you use
  • Send important notifications related to your account, data, subscriptions, and use of the application
  • Provide customer support

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data may be stored:

  • Locally on your device as part of the app’s on-device data storage
  • In your Google Drive account if you choose Google Drive backup
  • Through Finanxy cloud backup and sync features if your subscription includes premium cloud access

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption, secure transmission, and access controls, designed to help safeguard your information. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and maintaining good security practices remains important.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Google, for authentication and Google Drive backup features you use
  • Service providers that help us operate infrastructure, sync, analytics, crash reporting, and support features
  • Advertising networks for supported free-user ad experiences

We may also share information when:

  • Required by law or legal process
  • Needed to protect our rights, property, or users’ safety
  • You have given explicit consent

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your data

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or for as long as needed to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You may delete your account and data through the application settings. Backups stored in destinations you choose may remain there until deleted by you or through supported cleanup flows.

7. Children’s Privacy

Finanxy is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by updating the date at the top of this policy.

9. California Residents (CCPA)

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA, including rights to know, delete, and request certain disclosures about personal information processing. We do not sell personal information.

10. European Users

If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you specific privacy rights, including under the GDPR, you may have rights such as access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing.

Waitlist Addendum (Finanxy Site)

If you submitted your email on the Finanxy landing page waitlist before 17 August 2026, the additional data we collected and how we handle it:

What we collect when you join the waitlist

  • Email address
  • Locale (en or id) at the moment of submission
  • Source identifier (where the form was submitted from, e.g. hero or footer)
  • Timestamp of submission
  • User agent string of your browser
  • IP address (used only for rate limiting and spam prevention)

How we use it

  • To email you a single launch announcement on 17 August 2026
  • To prevent spam and abuse (rate limiting per IP, Turnstile verification)
  • To understand which page sections drive sign-ups (source label only)

Storage

  • Stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to the operator (Artha Maevia Reveria) of Finanxy
  • Retained until the launch announcement is sent, plus a short grace period for delivery failures
  • Never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for marketing beyond the single launch email

Your rights on waitlist data

  • Email contact@finanxy.app at any time to request access, correction, or deletion of your waitlist entry
  • Deletion requests are processed within 14 days
  • The same rights under “Your Rights” above (access, correction, deletion, export) apply to waitlist data

This addendum supplements the main Privacy Policy above. In case of conflict, the more protective provision applies.
